PTCOG Exchange Program
Learning from those who do it and exchanging ideas with colleagues is a very important way to gain expertise. For many PTCOG Members who do not have the advantage of sabbatical benefits, but would wish to interact on a more detailed level than what can be accomplished at professional meetings, we start a PTCOG Exchange Program. The list attached shall help to enable exchange of professionals in the field of particle therapy with the goal of reaching highest therapy standards worldwide by exchanging our practical knowledge and experience.

Patient Statistics per End of 2023
Per end of 2023 more than 410'000 patients have been treated worldwide with particle radiotherapy, close to 350'000 with protons, about 57'500 with C-ions and about 3'500 with He, pions and other particles. Files with details of the patient statistics of particle therapy centers worldwide are published for registered Members of PTCOG only.
(The data have been reported by the particle therapy centers and collected by Martin Jermann, Secretary of PTCOG).
